Description: $750 Here we have a rare second generation style Standard garden tractor that has been adapted to electric start. The tractor is SN 3204 which dates to the mid to later 1920`s, the numbers on the starter say it`s from a mid-1930`s Chevy, so that is probably when this modification took place. The engine has no sign that the starting crank support bracket was ever on it (these can`t be cranked without that installed), the starter belt pulley is the same color as the flywheel, all the additional brackets for the battery box and fuel tank supports are very well made, with a lot of it professionally riveted together, almost all of the original paint is still on it, and it runs great, good compression and no smoking, so I`m thinking that this tractor was NOS when this electric start was added in the mid 1930`s. It might have been done at the factory, or at a very well equipped dealership, I highly doubt that a farmer did this out in his barn, but that is for you to decide. There are no CBW`s, the tin work is in great shape, and the cooling fan bushings are still snug. A great piece for someone who likes the unusual! I can ship it via Fastenal, but it is too long for a traditional pallet, I`ll need to custom make a pallet, plus build a box around it to protect it, so for that I will need an additional $50 for wood. The 6 volt battery is included if it isn`t being shipped. I can store it here until you can pick it up as long as it`s paid for, or bring it to any of the Conn engine shows this fall.
