Description: This is a real nice original brass oiler for a hit and miss engine, steam engine, or other piece of a machinery. It is a #3 size made by National Brass Company although it is unmarked as many National oilers are. These oilers were used from the factory on the later International Harvester or McCormick Deering Type M (spark plug fired) engines. It has a vent tube and a check ball in it so it was meant to oil the cylinder of a gas engine. It is NOS, new old stock, as it doesn't appear to ever have had oil in it. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and only a few very minor handling nicks here and there. Everything seems to works as it should. It stands about 6 inches tall overall and is about 2 5/16 inches in diameter at it's largest. It has 3/8 inch NPT pipe threads and they are in great shape. Both glasses look to be in good shape. It may need new gaskets and some very light cleaning but that's the fun part. It has the original filler cap. Other than possible gaskets it should be ready to go to work on an engine or other piece of machinery with no extra attention as far as I can tell! It would be a great way to top off a proper restoration! I will ship to anywhere on the globe. I can be reached at 262-573-1931 or by email or text message if you'd like to talk about it. Thanks for your interest.
